This project, initiated in 2017 by a group of dermatologists, aims to eradicate scabies infestations in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

 

By targeting students and non-medical staff, the project seeks to raise awareness, provide early detection, and ensure proper treatment for scabies.

 

This national-wide program, known as «Observe, Eliminate, and Prevent Scabies – Towards Indonesia Free of Scabies 2030 (Deskab-Menuju Indonesia Sehat Bebas Skabies 2030),» aligns with WHO’s goal of eliminating scabies by 2030.
